Following my request for trophies to be returned, the ones listed below along with who won them are still outstanding. Can they be returned to the secretary by the end of the week please to give enough time for them to be engraved for the presentation night.

2023 winter league – Division 2 Winners Shield – St Benedicts

Can the Sun Inn please let me know the inscription they wish on their trophy in memory of Lee.

At the recent AGM the following proposals were passed.

1. Team register to be expanded to 12 players, any alterations still need to be notified to secretary. Any player who plays in a final or play off must have played at least 4 games during the season.

2. Singles draw to remain as it is. The doubles can be made at the discretion of the captain, pairing who they like and doesn’t have to be in the same order as the singles. If the match goes to a deciding frame, that is still a blind draw of the 4 players who played I the doubles.

3. The singles and doubles competitions will return to one draw rather than being split between 1^st & 2^nd divisions. However, any losers in the preliminaries or 1^st round will be re-entered into another competition of their own.

Proposed start for summer league is either 29^th April or 6^th May. The teams entered at

present are:

If anyone wishes to enter a team, can they let the secretary know ASAP, closing date 20^th

April.
