The final comp of the season was the Champion of champions. Held at Stafford bowls club as the green is always superb and the support from the members is always great, a big thank you to them for letting me use the green once again. There were many stand out matches on the night but our final was Joe Hunter vs Dave Wright. Dave once again was a class act and a worthy winner after his performances all evening.
Thanks to Amy and Ian again for setting up and doing the live scoring! And to everyone who measured and marked.
Another successful competition season for the friday night league.

Tonights individual merit final Jimmy Stuart vs Ian Roles on Heath Hayes.
The bowling all round was high quality and we had a strong field of 8. It came down to a close final but Ian claimed the 21-19 win. Thanks to Colin at Heath Hayes for use of the green and to spectators for marking and measuring.
Sun 14th Sep
Friday night we played the Eley cup. The final came down to last years winner Dave Wright and a regular to most competition finals Aaron Jones. But for a second year in a row Dave took home to trophy.
Thank you to Stafford bowls once again for there superb green and to all markers and measurers.

Simpsons Doubles
Congratulations to Peter Cookson and Mark Archer for winning the Simpsons Doubles yesterday at Penkridge they beat a strong field. in the Final beating Aaron & Cliff Jones who played superb all day.
