WELCOME TO THE PENINSULA PAIRS LEAGUE 2024/25

"For the love of bowls"

We have now concluded the first half of our Winter bowls fixtures.

We recommence on Tuesday 7th January 2025.

Well done to all the teams who took part, and thank you all for your support. We've had a wonderful first half to our Winter bowls season.

Congratulations go to Keith and his team, The Maverick's, for winning the league. They had a solid season throughout.

We are looking forward to another competitive season come January.

We will play every Tuesday and Friday afternoon, starting at 12 noon in Central Park, Wallasey across greens 2 and 3.

A team can register as many players as they wish, however the team on the day will consist of two pairs (4 players)

Each team will play two fixtures per week.

There will be a £3 fee per player for any game played throughout the season.

Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and soups will be available each session.

All teams will receive prize money in accordance to what position they finish in the league, and will be paid out in March.

Team match wins and draws will determine league positions, not points.

We are fully registered with Merseyside Crown Green Bowling Association and are covered by Endsleigh for our insurance.

We have twelve teams registered for this league.

We look forward to meeting up with some regular faces this Autumn/Winter as well as some new faces too.
