WELCOME TO THE PENINSULA PAIRS LEAGUE 2024/25

"For the love of bowls"

We are starting the league on Tuesday 8th October.

We will play every Tuesday and Friday afternoon, starting at 12 noon in Central Park, Wallasey

across greens 2 and 3.

A team can register as many players as they wish, however the team on the day will consist of two pairs (4 players)

Each team will play two fixtures per week.

There will be a one off £5 registration fee for all players and then a £3 fee per player for any game played throughout the season.

Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and soups will be available each session.

The season will be split into two halves, the first half running from October to December 2024.

The second half running from January to March 2025.

All teams will receive prize money in accordance to what position they finish in the league, and will be paid out in December and then again in March.

Team match wins and draws will determine league positions, not points.

We are fully registered with Merseyside Crown Green Bowling Association and are covered by Endsleigh for our insurance.

We have ten teams registered for this league.

We look forward to meeting up with some regular faces this Autumn/Winter as well as some new faces too.
