Welcome to the Kingsway Indoor Bowling League
CONSTITUTION
1The club will be known as Kingsway Indoor Bowling Club
2The club will play at Kingsway Leisure Centre, Kingsway, Widnes, under the ‘Conditions of Hire’ of Halton Borough Council
3‘Conditions of Hire’ - The ‘hirer’ shall be the teams playing in the League and
therefore the individual players making up the teams are deemed ‘hirers’. The
fact that one individual person signs the hiring agreement will not make that person
the ‘hirer’. No claim can therefore be made against the secretary or treasurer.
Visitors shall be the responsibility of the individual player (hirer) that invites them
into the Centre.
4Membership should consist of officers and members of the club
All members will be subject to the regulations of the constitution and by joining the
club will be deemed to accept these regulations and rules of the game
5Membership fees will be set annually at the Annual General Meeting.
6Officers of the Bowling Club will be:
Chairperson/Treasurer - Mrs Joan D Fletcher
Secretary - Mr Arthur Holroyd
7All bowling club monies will be banked in an account in the name of the club which will be held with Santander Bank.
The Treasurer will present an audited statement of the accounts at the Annual General Meeting. Any transactions on the account
can be authorised by the Treasurer or Secretary of the club.
8Declaration:
Kingsway Indoor Bowling Club hereby adopts and accepts this Constitution as a current operating guide.

END OF SEASON REPORT
Thanks to everyone for an enjoyable and competitive season
and thanks to Joan for her untiring work which made it all possible
the winners trophies were presentd after the Fours Competition a follows:
1st Division Champions PHOENIX
runners up LIONS
2nd Division Champions USC
runners up MARINERS
The Fours competition was won by PHEONIX beating LIONS in the final
USC and MARINERS will be promoted to DIV1 and HALE AND HEARTY and MOORFIELD will be relegated to DIV2
Kingsway Centre will be closing in the early part of 2005 and moving to the new site on Moor Lane.
The proposed date of the move is at the end of February so i intend to move the 2024/5 start date to Late September/
early October so that we can complete next years competition before we need to move

END OF SEASON PRESENTATION
The presentation of trophies and awards will take place at Kingsway after the fours competition
Will last years champions and Second Division winners please return the trophies to the Secretary or Treasurer before that date

IMPORTANT FIXTURE NOTICE
I have made a mistake in the fixtures. Owing to giving the dates to Kingsway late they have rented the hall on Thursday 16th November
and we are unable to play. The fixtures will be now played on Thursday 29th February
The fixtures involved are Rock Park v Fords, Lions v Moorfield and Hough Green v Jolly Roger, Mariners v Jelly Beans
