The Merits Doubles were won by last years winners Rob Treece and Mark Wilson from Littleover,
they beat fellow Littleover players Cliff Robinson and Nigel Davies in the final.
Results are on the competition tab results, individual comp tab, Merits Doubles.
Thank you to Chaddesden Bowls club who hosted the event, and kept everyone well fed with hot food.
Fri 23rd AugThe Merits Doubles Finals for the Wilf Foster Shield will take place on the Chaddesden Park Green on Friday 23rd August
10 am start, 9.45 scratch. This will be DRESS CODE
Collared shirts with short or long sleeves, black or navy blue trousers, or tailored shorts.
Hot snacks, refreshments, drinks etc will be available.
Tue 6th AugDERBY VETS V BURTON VETS
Congratulations to the Derby Vets team on overcoming a strong Burton Vets team by 287 shots to 272 shots . Full results can be viewed under the 2024 Competition results tab.

MEMORIAL CUP FINAL
Congratulations to Breadsall who won the Memorial Cup Final today by 6 shots, in a closely contested game.
The handicap system gave Breadsall a points advantage of 46, Allestree pulled back 40 pts, but the Division 2 side just held out, to win.

Fri 12th JulMERIT COMPETITIONS
The Singles Merits were played today at Spondon Bowls Club
The committee would like to thank Spondon Bowls club for their excellent hosting, providing hot food and beverages throughout the day, and also the excellent conditions of their greens.
There were some very competative and close games, with Mick Bacon Rykneld, winning through 5 games to win the Peter Harper Shield, with Lenny Robinson Littleover competing all the way in an excellent final, finishing Runner Up.
