Hi All

Just a reminder that the joint presentation for SBLBL, Northfield and Yardley Wood Superleague is this coming Friday 15th November at Stirchley United Working Men's Club. Doors open at 7pm and the Presentation of Trophies will be between 8pm- 8.30pm. Entry fee is £3 payable on the door.

Please note that each League has different rules regarding the collection of prize monies as follows:-

SBLBL
Any prize-winning individual or club not attending the Annual Prize Presentation, or not sending a representative to collect their prize money, will forfeit that prize money.

We would hope that all prize winners will attend but if you wish to nominate someone to collect your prize then you need to email me with the persons name to enable us to release your prize to them. There will be no exceptions to these rules.

Hi All

Apologies for the lateness of this email.

Rather than have an end of season meeting which is usually over within half an hour I think I will just  do an end of season report by email and rule changes can be discussed at the AGM in February unless the majority of members prefer a meeting.

i will need to have the trophies returned by the end of this week to enable me to get them engraved. The following trophies need to get back to me and this can be at the over 60's meeting tomorrow or the Northfield meeting on Sunday.

Alternatively you will need to arrange to bring them to my house.

YWSC - Division 2 Trophy
Division 2 average winner Kathryn Williets Romsley
Division 1 average winner Emily Weaver
Consolation Cup winners British Oak

Secretaries Report

The new system of playing the third match on a neutral green appears to have worked well and I hope teams preferred this new format.

Congratulations to the winners of each division Maggies in Division one and British Oak in division two

The averages in both divisions were very close with Emily Weaver of Banbury just beating Steph Witherspoon of Maggies in division one and Carolyn Travis of Y.O.K just beating Angie Greenaway of British Oak in division two

In the Challenge Shield Hall Green beat Banbury and in the Consolation Cup British Oak beat Ye Olde Knowle.

Treasurers Report

I attach a copy of the accounts to date showing a profit of £56.66 with balance sheet assets of £2,487.41.

We still have the usual prize monies to pay out at the Presentation amounting to £150 plus the cost of engraving but hopefully we will make a profit from the Presentation to help cover this.

The Presentation is being held at Stirchley United Working Men's Club on Friday15th November entry is £3 (children free) payment on the door. Doors will open at 7pm and the Presentations will take place around 8.30pm. Please let your members know so we have a good turnout.

Hope to see you all at the Presentation

All the best
