Betws yn Rhos Bowling Club are enormously grateful to Community and Voluntary Support Conwy and the Gwynt y Mor Community Fund for their help and generous grant towards the replacement of our green.
We will continue in our aim to enhance the club's facilities and encourage its use by bowlers of all abilities in the local area.
Congratulations to Rhos, Amazons and Conwy for winning their respective divisions in the Winter League and to
Peter Jones (Rwsters), Ged Ironmonger (East Parade) and Haiden Williams (ATO) for winning the Divisional Averages.
We hope you all enjoyed your winter bowling and we look forward to seeing you all again next winter.
The Sports Association have asked that anyone with a blue badge parks in a designated space in the lower car park and that all other players park on the grass to the left of the driveway and do not pass through the gate. The Wheatsheaf has kindly offered the use of their Car Park and request that players park as far back as possible and, as near to the wall as possible, leaving spaces near the front for their customers.
Please honour their request as the Club greatly appreciates their very generous offer.

Bob Morris Saturday Pairs League Rules
Games
31 up or 2 hours if 31 points are not gained. It would be appreciated if captains could make sure that all players arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time of the match.
Captains must agree to elect one person from each team to be the official time keeper.
At the final end, the jack can be sent out if within the scheduled 2 hours. Therefore it is essential that the time of play is noted by both teams at the start of play.
Points
2 points for each winning pair.
1 point for a tied game.
2 points for the aggregate or 1 point if the aggregate score is tied.
Registration
16 players maximum.
Players may play for only one team.
All players are required to pay a £3 registration fee.This will also entitle a player to play in the 'Weekly League' without having to pay an additional registration fee.
Cards and Money
The completed match cards are to be left in the cabin in the appointed ‘Saturday League’ plastic folder and the money put in the letter box when each match has been completed.
