Allscott Heath Winter League 2025/26

 

New season starting Monday October 13^th 2025

Bowlers!

You will be aware that our Winter League successfully launched in 2024 where we were able to offer the opportunity to bowlers from across Shropshire to bowl throughout the winter on our all-weather surface. We appreciate all the positive and constructive feedback we had and we’re now aiming to grow our league this Winter. Key details relating to the league provided below…

 * Weekly games on a variable night between Monday – Friday

 * Four players in a team

 * All games will be in a singles format, 21 up

 * Games will start at 7pm, both teams will be able to practice from 6:30pm

 * All games will be played on our all-weather surface

 * Thursday evening league points system to be adopted

 * £5 per player, per game (£1.50 goes to host club, £2.50 goes into prize fund to be distributed at the end of the season at our presentation evening, £1 will go to the British Heart Foundation charity)

 * Prize money (calculated based on 16 teams and subject to change)

League champions £800         League runner up £400           League third place £200

League fourth place £100       League fifth place £50

League averages winner £200             League averages second place £100

League averages third place £50

Team averages winner £30 each         Committee award £20

 * Day membership provided, offering member discount on bar prices

 * Hot food and drink offering available to purchase each evening

 * Clubs can enter multiple teams, there will be no named player restrictions

 * Any individual wanting to join from a club who do not have 4 or more bowlers interested can join another club’s team
