Pat Hughes singles, Well done to Helen Skidmore for winning what was a close final Pauline Bird dug deep with a end result 21- 17, also thanks Maggie and Wendy the other 2 semi finalist, some very good bowling. Many thanks to Stafford for hosting the event, getting green tip top and lovely refreshments and thanks to makers, measures and supporters. It was very nice to see Pat Hughes Daughter Ann attend and present the cups, an Idea from Maggie when the chatted at a whist Drive on Saturday, thank you Maggi very thoughtful.
Sun 3rd SepJoan Ralph Doubles Competition
Congratulations to Jo Jenks and Helen Skidmore on winning the Joan Ralph Trophy. Although not a huge turnout there was some excellent bowling and commiserations go to Daphne Simkiss and Chris Taylor the runners up.
The Leagues thanks go to Penkridge BC for hosting the day.

Iris Walker Doubles Competition
Congratulations to Peggy and David Haidarovic on winning the Iris Walker doubles competition at Alstom today. Commiserations to Val Pegram and Dave Sproston the runners up in a very good final.

11.15am - Mary Holland, Helen Skidmore, Mary Logan, Linda Arrowsmith, Jane Bisker, Pauline Dunn, Helen Punchard, Peggy Haidarovic, Chris Taylor, Shirley Fenton, Deborah Henry, Ann Griffiths, Val Wood and Val Pegram
Entry is £2 per person, and as last year we will be doing a football card which will cover tea costs and will give us money to give to Alstom as a thank you.

Triples Competition
Congratulations to Chris Andrea, Jo Jenks, and Hollie Pearce on winning the Triples competition today beating Theresa Talbot, Val Pegram and Helen Punchard in the final.
Thanks to Victoria Park for hosting the competition and to the measurers, card markers and spectators.

Can we now look to getting entries in for Iris Walker mixed Doubles on 5th August. Also if there are any ladies that would like a go in the Triples then please let me know, don't worry if you are single we will make trios up.

Many thanks to all those who took part, marked, measured and all thel supporters, on an evening that had very British Weather, thanks to Burton Manor, Stafford Bowling Club and The Amasal for hosting this event.
