Just a reminder that all postponed matches should be reported by both Captains and both Captains need to confirm date for rearranged match within 5 days to the Match Secretary as per rule and Captains reminder.
Postponed Matches ~ 8th July 2023
There appears to be a number of clubs that are not aware of the rules governing postponement of matches.
Matches may only be postponed due to the green being unfit for play (decided by the home Captain) or due to adverse weather conditions unless authorised by the Match Secretary.
This is highlighted in my reminders to Captains that is on the website and also on email sent out to all Clubs at the beginning of the season.
Teams may bring matches forward but must inform the Match Secretary ( I suggest that Captains communicate with their players to know when they are unavailable to resolve problems of selection before the last minute..
If there are problems with fulfilling fixtures, I am available to help sort out the problem.
