The Derby Vets AGM will be held on Wednesday 22nd November,at Littleover 1.30.

Fri 25th Aug

Derby Vets Doubles Merits were won by Rob Treece & Mark Wilson, Littleover, on the Chaddesden Park green, with Norman Lymer & Steve Harcula A & B runners up.

Some excellent games were played in fine conditions, spectators and players were well fed by the Chaddesden Park Club.

Results are on the competitions results Tag, Individual results tag, Merits doubles League.

Sun 13th Aug

The Merits doubles finals, will be held on the Chaddesden Park Green on Friday 25th August.

It will be an 11.am start, draw on the day. Dress code applies (Black or dark blue tailored trousers or shorts, collared shirts).

There will be hot food refreshments,( bacon cobs, chips , drinks etc available on the day). Supporters for this event would be appreciated.

Players in finals, Cooke & Doleman, Wheeldon & Shaw, Sutton & Meyer, Jones &Bonser, Kirkland &Pepper, Maydew & Chittim, Lymer & Harcula,

Wild &Jenkinson, Bacon & Goodwin, Kallis & Southwood, Treece& Wilson, Edwards & C Robinson, Stevenson & Meacham, Mills &Morgan,

Litherland & Blurton.

Derby Vets v Burton Vets results can now be viewed on line, after some problems we encounted.

Competition results tag, then Derby Vets v Burton Vets tag.

Tue 8th Aug

Derby Vets won the game against Burton Today

The home leg at Little Eaton 4 wins each, but Derby won the aggregate 149 -141

The away leg at Marstons 5 wins Derby 3 wins Burton, Derby won aggregate149-127

total aggregate  Derby 298  Burton 268, well done to all.

Congratulations to Derby Vets on defeating Burton Vets 298 - 268 ( home leg 149 -141, away leg 149 - 127). Full details can be found under 2023 Competition tab.

Mon 31st Jul

Chellaston 1 lifted the Memorial Cup today in an excellent game, on an excellent green.

Allestree had 4 wins to Chellastons 3, but with the handicaps Chellaston ran out winners 143 -139

Congratulations to Mark Wilson Littleover, who won the Derby Vets singles merits today,in the pouring rain at Little Eaton.Lenny Robinson was runner up.
